This principal shaved his head in front of everyone to support a student who was bullied

This principal let a student shave his head to teach an important lesson about bullying. "You never know what someone else is going through. Before you judge, before you make that comment, before you think about, you know, what you're going to say really take into account you don't know what somebody else's life is like." Principal Tim Hadley decided to make the bold statement when he heard students were teasing a classmate for shaving his head in support of his grandpa with cancer. "Anybody know anybody who's ever ever had cancer?  Show of hands? That's about everybody in the room. So for us to judge somebody else's reaction to that? It's wrong, and we can do better. In standing up for Jackson and showing my support for his Grandpa Rick, I've offered to let Jackson shave my head today. So we're going to do that right now." Jackson's grandpa was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma. Jackson's mom says students called him 'Baldy' when he came to school with a shaved head. But principal Hadley had Jackson's back. "Support each other, love each other. We're a family. That's why we're here. We're a Perkin family. That's what we do, we support each other. Good times and bad. I wanna see more good times than bad, but I'm here either way.
