Plastic bags are being recycled into these skateboards. To make one of the boards, there's about 4 lbs which is around 1,500 plastic bags. So it's quite a lot. Knight wanted to incentivize recycling. So he created a mold that presses shredded plastic into boards. The process takes only few hours to build a board. The boards have gotten good reviews for their strength and flexibbility. And Knight is refining them to suit professional needs.He plans to make a tutorial so others can also make the boards.
