Abby Mershon chose her granny to be the flower girl on her big day and grandma Georgina did it with style and grace. Mershon had planned to ask her grandma to play the role for a while. She expected her to say yes, but did not expect her actual response. "Everyone screamed but she shrieked at the top of her lungs. She kept on saying over and over that she had never been in a wedding before besides for her own." Mershon didn't want people to see her before the ceremony, but took a sneak peak through a window just to catch her grandma's special moment. After the ceremony, the flower grandma admitted that it was a 'hard work'. But said she had a great time. "She also said she wanted to throw candy instead - as if she was at a parade - but she decided to be respectful."
