This billboard will cough at anyone smoking. The swedish pharmacyApotek Hjartat wants to help people to quit smoking with it's new campaign. The billboards are placed in active smoker areas and use smoke detectors to make the billboard cough when a smoker is near. Smoking will kill 8 million people by 2030, according to WHO and it costs the global economy $1 trillion every year. Cigarette is an addictive product, the poor people tend to spend it to substitute other expenditures like education for a cheap smoke. It's really important that govermnents take action now, because tobacco control makes economic and public health sense.
