A Fifth Grader Asked The Police For Homework Help

A police officer helped this fifth grader with her math homework. Ten year old Lena messaged her local police department on Facebook and asked for help with some tricky math problems. Lieutenant B.J. Gruber actually responded and tutored Lena on her equations, except he gave her the wrong advice "Hoping it is truly the thought that counts since apparently I cannot!" Especially since the answer was wrong, it was very nice for her mom to acknowledge our attempt to help her daughter with some math homework." says LT. B.J. Gruber (Marion Police Dept) to the CBS News. Lena's problem wasn't exactly an emergency, but nice to know her local police force has her back.
