This is a wind-powered minesweeper. It is made from bamboo, iron and plastic. The idea is that it detonates landmines as it's blown around. It can handle up to 4 blasts. It's built by an Afghan inventor who had the idea after making miniature models as a child. Afghanistan has an estimate of 10 million landmines. The minesweeper ball is still a prototype and not used by the military. Some have suggested a remote control would improve it's performance. But for a price of £30, it's not a bad start.
